Radar System - Gilfillan has a long history of developing and successfully producing Defense Surveillance Radars.  This lineage started with our land-based AN/TPS-32 and was followed by a number of other land-based systems for international customers.  The maritime AN/SPS-48 is the primary detection subsystem of the U.S. Navy New Threat Upgrade (NTU) combat system.   They are the principal air surveillance sensor on all aircraft carriers and large deck amphibious ships. Our advanced SPS-48 configurations are operational in both maritime and land-based applications.

 

The LCR 2020 is the latest generation of the proven LCR/Falcon product line. The LCR 2020, an ideal solution for simultaneous air and surface surveillance, is a primary frequency agile, low coverage coastal surveillance and gap filler radar system. The system is capable of automatically detecting and tracking aircraft, helicopters and ships in operational environments including jamming, chaff, rain, ground and sea clutter. The flexible equipment configuration supports several installation options including antenna towers, fixed site facilities, transportable shelters, bunkers and remote operations and support.
